Role Overview:

The Digital Content Specialist plays a critical role in advancing the mission of the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) by creating compelling content, managing social media platforms, designing graphics, and maintaining the organisation’s website.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop content for various channels, including website articles, blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and press releases, educational and marketing videos
  • Manage and enhance NCPEDP’s presence on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Advance knowledge of email marketing.
  • Community engagement, respond to inquiries, and facilitate discussions on social media channels.
  • Design accessible and visually appealing graphics for social media posts, website banners, infographics, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain and update the NCPEDP website with relevant content, resources, and announcements.
  • Coordinate with web developers to implement design enhancements and optimise user
    experience.
  • Monitor website analytics to track traffic, user engagement, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum experience 2 to 3 years in content creation, social media management, website
    handling and graphic design. In depth understanding of SEO, SEM and social media analytics,
    Google Ads and social media analytics.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
    Illustrator, InDesign) etc.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create inclusive and engaging content.
  • Familiarity
    with website management systems (e.g WordPress, Squarespace, Linktree etc.) and social
    media management tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Understanding of disability rights, employment issues, and advocacy initiatives.

Remuneration:

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
