Nandini Bhattacharya is the Program Officer for the Javed Abidi Fellowship Program at NCPEDP. She holds a master’s degree in
social work from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan and brings a diverse professional background spanning education, health,
fundraising, and communications.

She began her career with the Education Department, Government of Odisha, followed by her role in the Health Department, Government of West Bengal. With extensive experience in engaging both government and private stakeholders, she has developed strong expertise in program monitoring, budget handling, crafting compelling documents and
proposals and strategic communication.

Her passion for exploring new places and understanding their dynamics strengthens her commitment to inclusion.

Rosy assists the Executive Director in the day-to-day activities of the organisation. Before NCPEDP, she had worked as Secretary to Chairman and Managing Director, Micro Insurance Academy. Rosy has done a Secretarial Practice Course from Young Women’s Christian Association (YMCA), Delhi.

Rosy is our go-to person. She holds the fort for us, everyday!

Shivani is the Assistant Program Manager at NCPEDP. With a research and teaching experience of over 4 years, Shivani co-leads the Advocacy Team. She is a Doctoral Scholar at Gujarat National Law University and an alumna of D.E.S. Law College (BSL LL.B) as well as ILS Law College (LL.M. in Business Laws). Before starting her journey in the development sector, she worked as a legal academic with Gujarat National Law University, Savitribai Phule Pune University and CHRIST (Deemed to be University). She has worked on research projects funded by the National Commission for Women, Government of Gujarat and Government of India in the domain of women and child rights. Her research interest lies in disability studies, queer rights, feminist jurisprudence, labour rights and environmental law.

Shivani is a Pomodoro advocate whose love for schedules can only be matched by her love for making disabled voices heard.

Sneha is a Communications Officer at NCPEDP, Sneha combines her expertise in public relations with her creative skills in visual storytelling. She is integral to advancing NCPEDP’s core programs in advocacy, scholarship, and fellowship. With a vision that digital platforms can fuel the next social revolution, Sneha works passionately to connect disability advocacy with the public, creating impact through innovative digital outreach.Sneha is a seasoned professional with degrees in Literature and Social Work, and a career spanning over six years in roles as diverse as teaching, social work, photography, and marketing. Her work has ranged from on-the-ground social impact in Jharkhand’s villages to the bustling industry of wedding photography in Delhi, where she led teams and managed client relationships with finesse.

Sumeet is the Program Manager at NCPEDP. He leads the visionary NCPEDP-Javed Abidi Fellowship on Disability. With an experience of over eight years, Sumeet has experience in implementing livelihood programs and project management strategies in the rural hinterlands of Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra and West Bengal. Before NCPEDP, he had worked at Pradan, Dhriiti-The Courage within TISS and Pragya. Sumeet has an MBA in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.

Sumeet’s passion coupled with realism keeps the team grounded.

Vamika has a post graduate diploma in Development Management from Indian School of Development Management (ISDM) and a graduate degree in Commerce from Delhi University. She has worked previously as a Project Coordinator at ECHO India and as a Senior Program Associate at Start Up! where she was involved in liaising with civil society organizations, providing communication support and ensuring process compliance for a diverse range of programs. She has also interned with various credible organizations such as Pravah, Simple Education Foundation, Pratham and Azad Foundation during her graduation. These experiences sparked her interest in the development sector and have further enhanced her research, stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

Ujwal is the Program Manager of the scholarship project at NCPEDP. She has pursued her Masters in Science from Gujarat and is currently based in Delhi. She started her career working as a counsellor and then as a program coordinator with one of the public health institutes. In her last organization, Ujwal got an opportunity to work in different departments starting from alumni coordinator to working with programs department dealing with both Indian as well as International students in the work span of 6 years.
